Meet Nainoa a.k.a. #BraddahJeffrehhh a.k.a. @nainizzle all the way from Hau'ula. He is a proud graduate of Kahuku and currently lives someplace in Mililani (next to somebody with a pool). He is also the pen and the voice behind our breakout single #FakeLover! Status: Single.
In his spare time, he enjoys VIP bottle service at Ginza, making crazy videos for his 60,000 IG followers, and private dances at the Alaskan Bush Company. Status: Single.
He makes his $$ by driving semi trucks and aspires to be an ice road trucker one day (but not right now, so please continue to email email@example.com for your next party). Status: Single.
His musical influences are Freddie McGregor, Maxi Priest, Bob Marley, Eric Bellinger, Brittney Spears, NSync, and the Backstreet Boys. (We have caught him secretly jamming out to Bieber and Nikki Minaj, but that's between me and you). Status: Single.
Did you know? Nainoa is Single!! And his “secret spot” is his left nipple? So have at it ladies! And we also heard that he carries a medium sized battery-operated electronic device that goes buzzzzzzzzzzz…#figurethatoneout
What we love about Nainoa: Obviously, we love his amazing vocal abilities and his larger-than-life crazy personality, but most of all, we love that he is a down-ass nukka that can kick back and drink cheap ulu maikas with us and make us laugh with him (and at him) when the bar is closed and everybody goes home. He is a Vital to the end, and he even has a tattoo to prove it!

Keahi Pi'iohia a.k.a @keahi1231 is a graduate of Kamehameha and his hometown is in Kailua, Oahu. He is a proud father of his one year old son and a loving husband. When he is not killing it on Vocals, Keys, or writing, he is a kia'i of @paepaeoheeia. For fun, he bodyboards, plays softball, fishes, and of course is a huge advocate for #alohaaina. He has previously jammed in: IHZZHI, Sensination, Pressure Drop, One Drop, and Roots Remedy. Did you know? He is a founding director of the @kekahua non-profit that is working to help create a place for Hawaiian arts and practices to flourish!
His musical influences are:
Steel Pulse, Aswad, Isreal Vibrations, Earth Wind & Fire, and Amonos Lee
Our favorite lyrical quote from Keahi:
"In this time when there are too many leaders, not enough farmers, not enough teachers and the politicians they all are cheaters, what about the fisherman?!?!" -stay away
What we love about Keahi: He's the most solid kanaka you will find, always on time, and will give you the malo right off his ass if you need 'em. His lyrics speak for themselves!! He is a VITAL part of the team and we are blessed to have him as a part of the family. #hukidamalo#justgottawashum #teamvitals #thevitals #thevitals808 #reggae
Ata Boy (Vocals/Guitar)
He is a proud daddy, and in his spare time, he enjoys bodyboarding, spending time with his son and family, pupus & beers, and hawaiian music. He has jammed with One Drop, Freedem, Sensination, The City Boys, Kuaana, J Griddi, Shy City, and Kanaka Roots to name a few. His musical influences are: Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott, Roots Radics and many more.
Did you know? Ata used to have long dreads during his full time musicians days in Cali. He is a poet when it comes to writing and is also a full-time carpenter (so he can build you a house ladies 😉) Status: single
What we love about Ata: he is the life of the party and if you were stranded on an island and you could only take one of the vitals with you, he is the one you want! (you might starve, but you will die laughing). His laugh and smile are infectious and you can count on him to be there every single time (although he might show up 2 hours late, but he will be there, and he'll bring you Jack In the Box tacos to make up for being late).#atabot #askhimtoshoulderroll

Meet our Vitals queen Cyd a.k.a. @cydee_gurl and our business manager. Her hometown is Kahalu'u but she is loving life in beautiful Waimanalo as a loving wife and mommy to her 6 year old son. She is a graduate from Kamehameha and all-around nerd (she goes into our IG posts and corrects all the grammar) 😩. In her spare time (when she has any) she spends it all on her family, going holoholo, cheering on the Manoa Tiny Mites, writing music, and watching Korean dramas.
She is a faithful band member, (unlike the other band whores in The Vitals), and has jammed with One Drop and the Ezekiel Band in her previous lives.
Her biggest musical influences are all the uncles, aunties, cousins and other family she was around growing up playing Kanikapila in the back yard.
She is inspired by Sam Cooke, Carol King, The Eagles, Kaleookalani, Hui 'Ohana, Wailing Souls, Gwen Stefani, and so many more.
Did you know? Cyd has 29 brothers and sisters and is the youngest sibling in her family. She has won awards for her song writing skills for "Kahalu'u's Crying" and also "Ka Ua Kilihune" (which was recorded by Hoku Hanohano winners @huewamusic). She is also the only member of the band who knows the difference between "their" "there" and "they're". Her laugh can also be heard and recognized from a mile away just like #Atabot.
What we love about Cyd: she will party all night, go to sleep last, then get up first and cook everyone breakfast. She is our heartbeat and is that Ride or Die chick that you want in your corner, and is the brains behind the projects we put together (her marketing skills are on 🎯). Between her day job, being a wife, being a mom, and being our band mama, we don't know how she continues to juggle it all and make it look that easy!
Download her songs "Kahalu'u's Crying, "Natural Woman" "One More Time" and "Hey Mr. DJ" on iTunes today! #thevitals #thevitals808 #teamvitals #teambacardi #moiisherfavoritefish #herdaddygotdimples #thatswhyshegetum

Did you know? Kainoa has been growing his hair for 6 years and it's already past his butt. We think that's where he gets his beer pong stamina from 😆#samsonanddelilahkinehair.
Another interesting fact is that Kainoa is, hands down, the most tank-top-wearing member of our crew, flashing his guns whenever he can! What we love most about kainoa is his happy dance... catch him in the crowd vibing out to good music with a bottle of crown, and you will see what we mean! #happydance #hisfirstameismatthew#teamvitals #thevitals #thevitals808

Meet our bassie Guy Heresa, a.k.a. @g_heresa. Guy joined us this year as our bass player and big boss music director (which means that we now have homework every week) He is originally from Liliha but now lives in God's Country, sweet home Waimanalo!
When he's not doing music, he earns a living as a male entertainer and model for Get Ratchet magazine 👊 In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing at the beach with his family and two keikis.
His musical influences are Fladda Holt, Sly and Robbie, and Style Scott.
He has jammed alongside Irie Souls, Bamboo Cru(cial), Micah G, Mahi Crabbe, Rootikal Riddim, Fiji, Shinehead, Elan Atias, Maka & the I-Sight Band, and others.
Did you know? Guy is the author and singer of the song "Wanting More", originally released by Irie Souls. We also heard reports that his bass can actually impregnate women after just one song! 😂 Check it out on iTunes!
What we love about Guy: besides helping take our original music to new heights, Guy is a truly talented musician with deep roots in the Hawaii music scene. Yet, he remains a humble and is always ready for a good time! #hesucksatKingsCuptho #boomkanani #phallicbass

Professah (Lead Guitar)
Meet Darin Garcia a.k.a. "Da Professah" and @professah_12. Darin joined us this year as our lead gitzy, and all-in-all the most badass music geek in our crew. He was born and raised in K-town (Kalihi, not Kaneohe) and has two beautiful baby girls (8 yrs & 1 yr old) that are the center of his world. He graduated from McKinley High, and he (and his dreadlocks) have been in the Plaster/Mason trade for the past 12 years!
His biggest inspiration in music has been Jah Rastafari, with Portishead topping the list as his favorite band and Roots Radics making a huge impact on his guitar work.
Darin has jammed alongside Irie Souls, IsoulJahs, the Ionz, Rootikal Riddim, Mr. 83 and the Awa Root Band, Rebel Souljahz, Micah G, The EKM House Band, Irie Love, Fiji, Ruff Scott, Gavinchi, Michael Rose, Apple Gabriel, & Likkle Mai to name a few!
Did you know? Darin was the QB of the McKinley HS football team in 98/99 and held the record for the most completions in a game?!?!? He was Athlete of the Week, OC16 Player of the game, and was the MVP of the All Star team.
What we love about Darin: Darin got that #stankface on lock!! (His 14-year old dreadlocks also bring us a whole lot of street cred). He is always humble and is always willing to share his knowledge from years of experience with being in the scene.
